This is Huge! $15,000 Challenge Grant Opportunity ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Hello from the Friends of Alaya fundraising committee!

TL;DR? If 100 people reading this email each give $30.00 we'll meet our challenge grant opportunity to unlock $15,000 for Alaya Preschool!

Thanks to our amazing community, Friends of Alaya has raised $11,842 towards our $30,000 annual goal, and weโ€™re less than halfway through the school year! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Now, we have an anonymous donor who is challenging us to get to $15,000, at which point they will be donating $15,000!

THIS IS HUGE! We may be done fundraising for the school year by the end of 2021.

Where weโ€™re at now

For those of you who love the details, here is what weโ€™ve raised:

+ Ratna Rumpus Ticket Sales: $2,592!

+ Anonymous Alaya Family: $5,000.

+ Thanks to another generous donor: $3,000

+ Annual Family Donations (we ask each family that can to contribute $250/year): $1,250

= Total raised by our community BEFORE THE CHALLENGE: $11,842

Where we need to get to

We need to raise $3,158 to meet the challenge grant threshold. Sooooo, if 100 people reading this email gave $30.00 we'd meet our challenge! If 100 people reading this email gave $100 we'd blow our fundraising goal up!

Two Ways to Give:

As a reminder of what weโ€™re fundraising for:

  • 50% of funds raised will go towards supplementing teacher compensation until the point at which Alayaโ€™s Endowment reaches maturity and can supplement instead.

  • 20% goes directly to maintaining and uplifting the building and grounds.

  • 10% goes towards increasing the available scholarship funds.

  • 20% of funds raised go directly to Alayaโ€™s Endowment.
